Renny is here for a spend the night and later I return him and pick up Hal who is going to have a spend the night. In the meantime, I was uptown taking care of some business this morning and dropped over to see mom while she was getting her hair done. She was whining about getting new grey hairs – she’ll be 71 this December – good grief. L called and said he was going for a bike ride, so I came back to midcity and went with him. It was a beautiful day, wind was blowing and I need a bike ride more than anything.
Actually what I need is sleep – which has not been forthcoming. Last night was the grand opening of Swirl and there was an impressive turn out. T, L, G, and a guy name C and I went to Lola’s for dinner afterwards and then the crowd broke up and T and I ended up at Chickie Wah Wah. I told T it was pretty great to have Swirl in our neighborhood and then just blocks away have this music club with people from all over coming to hear music. Not a bad place to live.
