We’ve been watching the snow flurries all morning on this day we were going to head to Bandolier and try to see Ghost Ranch as well. Instead our plans have changed to lounging for the lord then heading up the 285/84 to Bandolier to see if we could possibly get a hike in as it is not snowing there right now, and then to Espanola for lamb burritos at Angelina’s and arriving at Ojo Caliente for an outdoor thermal pool soak replete with fireplace.
As I called around trying to see what the weather was here and there, the woman at the other end of the phone said it’s snowing like crazy in Los Alamos and Santa Fe but it’s pleasant here right now and sunshine in other parts – that’s why they call New Mexico the land of enchantment – you never know what you are going to get.
