Saturday we feasted on the bounty of our garden. We cut a big thick stalk of broccoli, we picked mustard greens, we harvested the last of the basil and we made a delicious lunch. Sauteed onion with greens, steamed broccoli, and pasta pesto with brown rice pasta. Yum. There is no joy as taking food from your own yard to put on your table and turn into a meal.
