All the beautiful women

It is pretty amazing how many beautiful women live in this city. Last night after meeting N and the Snake and K and K and D etc over the Parkview, I went to G’s to photograph Tess – because G is going to put her on Petfinders since she seems like such a pet and not as feral as she was when she was terrorizing the cemetery. Then we went to Sip, which was happening – folks were spilling out into the streets and oh, what a wonderful, pleasant evening it was – slightly cooler than usual – initiating fall into our skin.

L came with R – whose name continues to remind me of Rochelle Rochelle from Seinfeld – she is a honey’d charming creature – and smelled so good too – what was her perfume? she said it was her signature – Bulgari’s original scent – but it smelled like Chanel 19 – and speaking of which C was there with her friend Y – C was wearing a sarong she had made – I mean made the fabric, it was gorgeous – she is teaching wearable art uptown – another beauty T popped in to get wine, H was waiting for her at Lola’s. Sylvia – great name – was pouring the wine – and she had rock star hair but she said sadly her stylist Arthur was leaving for L.A.

I took photographs of all of them. A was in and I told him I didn’t want to speak to him because I want that painting of his and I can’t afford it right now – he said we could work out something. Turns out it is the very same painting that C wants – or is it A she wants? – hmm, hard to say.

Next door T was playing the guitar and this time a woman was on the fiddle – a crowd was gathering over at the Fairgrinds as well. And the smells from Cafe Degas were yummy.
