The other day I wrote about a guy who tore off his shirt and dove into the bayou to help a woman who drove her car directly into the water (for reasons that are still unclear). Then there was my friend down the street whose attempts to save a woman who had been carjacked, raped and shot multiple times, were her only saving grace (after she was dumped out of the car, she ran to a house and banged on the door, it was 1:30AM so the owner wouldn’t let her in but she called 911, while she was dialing the assailants sprayed the woman with gunfire) – my friend heard the commotion and came running to help her, keeping her alive for the paramedics.
Ordinary Extraordinary heroes.
