Rome wasn’t built in a day, and relationships need building blocks to last the life time we all want when we go into them. So distance, which does make the heart grow fonder, only because you are thinking nonstop of when you will see the love of your life again, makes you think of her in ways you don’t when she is near. You APPRECIATE all the ways she fits into you – like the way she speaks fluent Spanish and knows Turkish, and loves both Spain and Turkey, my favorites, and how she says I love you with enthusiasm. But this morning I rolled out of bed slowly – big day ahead – and as I was brushing my teeth – the thing about her I thought of the most was her smile. When she smiles my whole world smiles with her.
