I’m staying at The Muse – my favorite boutique hotel in New York on 46th Street. At first I was a little put off by Kimpton’s purchase because they gussied up the rooms and kind of erased some of the bohemianism that existed here but other things were improved like no smoking in the dark, small bar and this in particular. Last night when I called down for my wake up call, the woman said, sleep well tonight. It gave me a warm fuzzy feeling (could have been because I was so tired, sleep sounded so good). Then this morning for the wake up call, the guy said, you have a GREAT day! I said, hell why not. I’ll do that, I answered. So here’s to a great day. May the force be with you.
