Taking a cue from the Jews

On Rosh Hashana every year, Jews celebrate the new year according to the Jewish calendar – this year for New Year’s I welcomed the new year much in the same way that I do on Rosh Hashana by asking forgiveness from those I have wronged and for forgiving those who have wronged me.

You don’t necessarily get forgiveness from those you ask of it but asking for it is part of the process.

I also did the typical non Jewish thing and made resolutions – ones I plan on keeping. They are:

1) Be aware of your power and don’t give it away
2) Elevate your body to the next level of stamina, flexibility and strength
3) Put your head in the game (a page from the J-man book)
4) Open your heart but let those you love earn your love (a page from J’s book)
5) Find time to just be
6) Dance, dance, dance
7) See the world even when you haven’t moved from your post
