Monday – Om Day

Last night, we watched Patrik, Age 1.5, a Swedish film about a gay couple who adopt what they think is a baby, but turns out to be a teenage boy. Touching. And then I picked up Whatever Passes for Love is Love by John Stoss and began again this book, which I had picked up a week ago and then a week got in the way. More on this later.

Monday started at 4AM, with insomnia, dyspepsia and a busy day awaiting me. Monday is the beginning of my busy week – the one in which I deliver two reports, see the dermatologist about alopecia, get my knives sharpened, do more blood work for my Hashimoto’s, winterize my garden, have meetings, get my iPhone screen replaced since I dropped and broke it, go to a committee meeting and end with Tatjana’s birthday.

So OM it is – I’m headed out for a swim right now on this, the first very cool fall day we have had. The first day that New Orleans does not have a newspaper yet there were more murders in the city than I can count on my one hand. But then again who would know?

Ommmmmmmm.
