I was walking with K towards the party and we both kept stopping to speak to neighbors and it took about 45 minutes to go two blocks. We were laughing because a friend from New York had been here and commented on how friendly he is when he is in New Orleans and we’re like dude – it’s not about being friendly – it’s about engaging. That’s how we do it. We stop, we chat, we don’t just pass on by.
