I swear it’s like there is no shortage of fun things to do in this city. I think I mentioned just this weekend it is White Linen night, and Satchmo Fest, and I had two party invites for tonight alone. So I decided to blow it all off tonight. I was lying on my couch with Loca and Arlene near me and thought about all the traveling I was going to be doing over the next two months and decided home with my doggies is where I want to be.
But back to the social bonanza – Tuesday is insane – it’s Night Out Against Crime, which is this big huge shindig that is thrown every year at this guy’s house on Esplanade, then the Parkview Neighbors do a potluck in the triangle every year on the same night, and Gal Holiday is playing at Rock N Bowl, and now I get an email that Chris at Bacchanal is throwing himself a big old birthday party Tuesday night. Good grief – it’s like there is just too much fun going on in this city.
