The heat index in New Orleans was about 106 yesterday and right now it is already there again – the forecast shows no rain in site – so the garden is thirsty, I’m thirsty, and there is no relief in sight. But we’ll take blazing heat over a hurricane any day. Meanwhile in Arizona, one of my sources said it is cool there today.
