The answer is …

If you are in New York on Monday, June 13th, you have to go to the Wix Lounge and see For|By|For’s exhibit of RaMell Ross’s photography (take a moment to check out the staff bios and see my fabulous niece listed).

If you are in New Orleans now through Sunday, here is your agenda:

Tonight – Fairgrinds at 7 to see Pickin up Da Pieces, cutting room floor film from Spike Lee’s second documentary on Katrina with live music from Monica Dillon, Joy Clark, Angelamia and Gingerbread.

Thursday night head to the Ogden for After Hours with Sarah Quintana from 6-8PM.

Friday night head to the Pitot House to buy a copy of Lake Douglas’ book Public Spaces, Private Gardens, and taste some wine.

Saturday it is time for the Annual Porch Crawl in Bayou St. John, buy your ticket now and save $10.

Sunday it’s James Singleton and friends at Snug Harbor.

And Monday Uncle Detox returns for a two week visit – sheesh.
