I mentioned the Giovanni issue yesterday because it was getting me down – I feel in some ways like so many people did good work on the LaLa but some people took advantage – a lot of advantage – because they see me as “rich white girl” (someone else called me that) and therefore someone to take advantage of – today when someone came by to get money, $90 for a menial task, and said “that won’t break the bank – har har har” – I just felt like saying STOP IT – stop taking advantage of me, stop thinking that I am the Bank of Rachel, then I realized that I have the power to stop this nonsense.
From now on – I’m done doling out to the universe – money that is – and am in horde mode. The spending spree that started twenty two months ago has come to its end and I want to sit on my investment and stop supporting every freelance worker in the universe.
