I had a chit chat with a woman tonight about men and I told her that she’s beautiful and smart and worthy and that if this man in her mind doesn’t acknowledge that then she needs to acknowledge while she is smitten by him it does not mean she has to settle for less than she is worth. Truth is he could be smitten by her too but has issues – maybe she doesn’t fit his profile of what he ideally wants, or perhaps he’s not ready to settle down, or maybe the issues are greater like he is a commitment phobe – who knows what he is – but she has to know what she is and what she deserves – and she doesn’t deserve a man who doesn’t understand her worth and who doesn’t treat her with respect.
A beautiful, smart woman is a terrible thing to waste on a man who can’t stand up.
