Outside looking in

I was telling a friend the other day that the world sees her very differently than how she feels inside – she appears strong, confident and appears to have it all. This morning at dawn I was approaching the LaLa when I saw two women on the bayou walk across the street to peer inside my house because G was in there and the lights were on.

It appears effortless from the outside but let’s never forget Hemingway’s famous line – grace under pressure.

For good measure, I took what was left of my smudge bundle and lit it till it was smoking and did an extra smudge to ward off K’s insanity.
