Last night I tossed and turned – anxiety again – don’t know where it comes from – I dreamed that I had a Jeep and Tin had to ride in a car seat hooked to the back tire and so I wrapped him in a garbage bag so it wouldn’t rain on him. Toss and turn.

Today, I started back to work and perhaps it was the leaving my one month of simply being a mom behind that had me anxious.

After a few phone calls, Tatjana came up to my office with a letter – we received the final adoption decree for Tin today!

I must say that even though I would have skinned anyone alive who tried to take him away from me, I have been waiting for some reason for this signed, sealed and delivered decree. Now, I’m walking on air – my son, officially. Now we have to move to make T a legal guardian since we could not co-adopt in the State of Louisiana, because we cannot marry in the State of Louisiana because of ignorant people.
