If what I’ve read is correct, he didn’t left her. He continued his relationship with her, but never married her, as she was hoping. Which made her all the harder for her when he died, because he was still so close to her. But still, I wish she had never met him. Maybe then Her Life would have been happier, and she would have accomplished more, reach perfection, as far as Her Talent could handle.
