I drove by the LaLa and noticed that K’s truck wasn’t there so I went by and talked to Vic – he said they will be finished today – YIPPEE! – and will come back Friday and do the torch down on the terrace – YIPPEE!. Christian had the glass tile up on the front of the tub – it is tiny – it was supposed to be 1×1 like the rest but it turns out it is even less than .5 x .5 – still it will look nice. C is going to put one square of the aqua inside the window trim. Nice.
The new metal window frames are up in the addition and they look sweet! I called about the glass but no eta on the glass arriving.
We’re in need of a trim carpenter now that K is leaving for two weeks. I’m searching high and low.
As I was leaving, I stopped by the mailbox to get mail from yesterday and there was a huge Saks catalog as well as an envelope with two spent gardenias.
