I receive emails from a community group and it never ceases to amaze me how people in the same area can be so divided on what is a crisis and what is not. The latest email had me almost belly laughing as the person said “They smoke marijuana” behind the store! Gadzooks – marijuana! Which by the way, should be legal.
Really I am not vested in this, I’m not a stoner, but marijuana for godsakes? Probably has killed less people than alcohol. And while yes, you can be addicted to marijuana, but you can be addicted to anything – men, cookies, oatmeal, mineral water. Should these things be outlawed?
Anyway, I almost responded, hey you, guess what, in your lifetime marijuana will be legal and so will same sex marriage. So if this is just too much to handle, I suggest an alternate planet. But I erased my message and went back to what I was doing instead.
