I went to the Fest yesterday and I just want to say this – hail to the over 50 year old crowd because I saw Doc Watson (86 years old), Bonnie Raitt (60 years old this November), and Tony Bennett (83 years old) – can we say AWESOME and can I get an amen – I took this minute clip of Tony yesterday – a neighbor was standing near me and she said “This is a life defining moment.”
With the right attitude, you may just be surprised that a lot of things about getting older are pretty nice. If there’s ever a day we can get spare parts in a warehouse somewhere, people will be pretty happy to get old.
I’d go for that – I think I am remembering my years these days by injuries – my carpal tunnel in 2006, my foot in 2007, my back in 2008.
