This old mare ain’t what she used to be

I was at Rouse’s yesterday getting Camelia red beans to make for the boys from Croatia who are in New York and headed here conveniently on Monday – red beans and rice day. An elderly man was trying to get some lemons into a plastic bag and was shaking a little and so I helped him. He said thanks, you know I’m 89 years old. I said well I’m 49. He said my birthday is next week. I said you look great for almost 90! He said, yeah I don’t take Viagra either. My wife says I scare her sometimes.
