Tuning up and tuning out
Jazz Fest is here and as the front page of the TP online states – Jazz Fest is defying the recession with record ticket sales. Meanwhile, you can feel the fest in the air as always – lawns are being mowed, the sound systems are being tuned up, and this morning walking Loca, there were already several people with their essential Jazz Fest hats on and a truck stopped me to ask me how to get to the Fairgrounds – everyone in it was smiling ear to ear. So today work and then it’s time to put on the hat, grab the brass pass, and go hear music, eat crawfish bread and jamba jamba and pass a good time.
