Woke this morning and realized why City Park looks so special effects like – turns out all the cypress trees are in full bloom and the color is like no other green in the world – it is simply the most beautiful green on the planet. As I walked through the park this morning, I thought about my upcoming trip to New York and when I was there with T. Then I thought of T in Istanbul – a beautiful city filled with beautiful people, music, food, truly the most cosmopolitan city I have ever been in – and I thought about my love walking through those streets and sitting in splendid cafes and I thought about all the beauty she carries with her and brings to those she loves – Ralph Waldo Emerson said:
