San Sebastian Festival in Puerto Rico

L and I got to Old San Juan at 3 o’clock in the afternoon and didn’t leave till midnight – the festival was a great primer for Mardi Gras which awaits me back home. We got caught in several rainstorms but by evening the rain had cleared and it was a perfect night to be in the streets. Having a beer in a restaurant, L marveled at how beautiful the Puerto Ricans are – men and women – indeed.

  1. I love this!!! Mañana por la mañana llena tu casa de flores que seguro te visita, la Virgen de los Dolores…

  2. That’s priceless – hmmm – I don’t need encouragement to believe that way – it’s like the zen one door opens and another closes – it does seem limiting though huh? – why not todo bueno, todo los dias tu casa esta llena de flores? Just not real life?

  3. La Virgen de los Dolores visited me in bed this morning as I thought about all the work I have piling up for me at home, and I thought about all the things that go ugh ugh ugh and tug on my soul – I told her to go away!

  4. good for you!! she came earlier to my house too, i gave her coffee and she said that I was good to go!
