L and I got to Old San Juan at 3 o’clock in the afternoon and didn’t leave till midnight – the festival was a great primer for Mardi Gras which awaits me back home. We got caught in several rainstorms but by evening the rain had cleared and it was a perfect night to be in the streets. Having a beer in a restaurant, L marveled at how beautiful the Puerto Ricans are – men and women – indeed.
I love this!!! Mañana por la mañana llena tu casa de flores que seguro te visita, la Virgen de los Dolores…
That’s priceless – hmmm – I don’t need encouragement to believe that way – it’s like the zen one door opens and another closes – it does seem limiting though huh? – why not todo bueno, todo los dias tu casa esta llena de flores? Just not real life?
No kidding…aunque te visite la Virgen de los Dolores.
La Virgen de los Dolores visited me in bed this morning as I thought about all the work I have piling up for me at home, and I thought about all the things that go ugh ugh ugh and tug on my soul – I told her to go away!
good for you!! she came earlier to my house too, i gave her coffee and she said that I was good to go!
Pesky virgen.
