Life is so weird. You can be surrounded by a lot of people and pow, one stands out who you are attracted to. Sometimes, it doesn’t make any sense, because a) perhaps he’s wrong for you, b) you’re wrong for him, c) he’s not attracted, or d) bad timing. I don’t know what it is, but attraction is powerful – perspective gives up some ground because this magnetic draw is not rational or reasonable.
Why are people attracted to one another – sometimes it is familiarity – they remind you of a parent, or they are funny and make you laugh, or there is a quirkiness that matches your quirkiness, or sometimes they are so opposite to you – like they are still and you are kinetic.
But what is unattractive is when your attraction is unrequited – then it’s just like wasted energy to ponder the hmmm and huhhhhs.
