Ocho-rama

Late yesterday afternoon, I picked up Jake and he was practically leaping off the sidewalk, he was so excited to see me. I missed him having traveled into last week along with being busy with photo shoot and party prep not to mention that four letter word – WORK. The camp counselor said that last Tuesday he thought he saw my truck and almost refused to get in T’s car. Anyway, we headed to the Children’s Museum where I watched him play with other boys – I watched with fascination how they each dealt with the issue of sharing. It came natural to Jake, but not to one of the boys, but with that one’s mother there lovingly convincing him it was the right thing to do, he seemed to be dealing with his natural inclination to hoard.

We spent our time driving around singing One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show – a song that is on the CD L gave me for my house warming.

He was such a little lovey that I didn’t want to take him home. When we did get home, L told me she has less than 12 weeks before baby #3 arrives – good god!
