I was walking the spice aisle of Rouse’s looking for asafetida and couldn’t find it, go figure, then the clerk putting up the pickle relish asked me what I was looking for and I mumbled, “just an Indian spice but I don’t see it,” – what’s it called? he asked and so I said, Asafetida and his eyes got real big and he said, “Hasta la vista to you too, lady.”
We belly laughed for a good five minutes.

LOL! You wouldn’t want to know how I pronounced it all these years but only to Hubby–just so I wouldn’t forget the name. It worked and it’s so much fun to look for it! I don’t think I could ever for it–even if I get alzheimer’s. Hope you found it finally!
