A friend writes there is a band in her neighborhood called Blame it on the Dog. And there you have it. Do you believe in the concept that you put things out in the universe and they come back to you? I do – I was telling friends I was thinking of trading in Blue and getting a car and next thing you know my neighbor walks over and asks about my truck, asks to test drive it, asks to buy it and then offers his BMW in trade. 24 hours later I thought I’m not ready to give up Blue and I didn’t want his older bimmer. But funny how quick the universe responded.
Yesterday, I said something under my breath and next thing you know, it came back one, two, and then this morning three times. Interesting, how you just need to utter it and not even to someone else and the universe throws back. Of course, I subscribe heavily to the “be careful what you wish for” concept because sometimes we think we want something because we don’t have all the information.
Meanwhile, M came by this morning to have coffee and to extend a “blame it on the dog” – sometimes things are what they are and you just have to go with it – I mean if the damn dog did it, it deserves the blame, right?
