As soon as the disaster was digested in Haiti, the news started flying through our wires about adopting a Haitian child. Then we heard from an organization that this time, the government was going to cool their heels and make sure there is no remaining family because in the past, during disasters, children have been exported with families left behind that could have taken them in.
In the news today, 33 children were kidnapped by a Baptist church in Idaho and now it is found out that one third of these children have parents who are alive!! This is insane and this egregious act will now make it harder for real orphans to be placed into homes and families who will care for them after this horrible tragedy.
Shame on you people!
