We had a ramp up of visitors all week from as far away as Madrid and London to NY. The new thing around here is a guest book that we are making our guest fill out as if we were an established Bed and Breakfast – or perhaps you would call this a Bed, Booze and Breakfast – but no matter, there is some damn good wine poured and the best Vodka Tonics on the planet, but I digress – everyone, hands down, leaves here with a sense of what the LaLa is all about – there is no dearth of joy and tears – and that’s not just ours, but all who pass through these doors.
Some truths about the place though:
1) The Lala is a special place
2) The bayou is a special place
3) New Orleans is a special place
4) Love lives here.
