I was strolling with the dogs early this morning getting ready for an early work call when I saw the boys from Holy Cross running around the bayou. Back to school – the Cabrini girls are all rooting for parking spaces, the Holy Cross boys are running the bayou, and still my favorite are the nuns going to and fro in their black habits. Summer is coming to an end and while I’m welcoming the end of 87 degrees in my office no matter what the thermostat is set on and the opportunity to walk out the front door and not have to declare, LORD TODAY, I still am sad to see the slow days of summer hurry into fall reminders (we don’t actually get fall for a while).
