Neglecting friends

To have a friend is to be a friend or so they say, but I have to say in this modern life, I hope my friend’s text because that is the extent of my visiting friend time. I had one cuss me out over the costs of text messaging and of course, you know what happen, she never heard from me again. Look I don’t get a lot of time for a lot of things, but my friends are important – so since T is out of town, I called a high school pal that I haven’t caught up with, actually she reminded me that she called me a month and a half ago and I said, “Let me call you right back.” She said she now knows what right back means – 45 days.

On Friday, I was to catch up with another friend but that didn’t happen, and on Saturday I did catch up with a dear dear friend who came over for a little girl’s night in instead of the White Linen night we had proposed five months ago when we were thinking of something we could do together to catch up. Similarly, I’m blessed with neighbors who are friends and so I’ve spent the waking Tin hours in the throes of visiting and catching up with them as well this weekend.

This morning was LaLa pancakes and lot of catching up:
