We went to a birthday party yesterday and you ever notice how some kids just are who they are going to be at a very early age? There was a little girl who at seven was walking around in pink high heels and there was something about the way she looked and acted that made me think – actress. And then there are kids that are like rug rats sort of disappear into the scenery who may blossom as they age or not.
There is something about these kid’s birthdays in the backyard, on the slip and slide, in the baby pools, the ice cream cake melting on the fold out table that reminds me of my childhood in a good way.
