Last night, I did manage to scoot over to the Pitot House for Vino on the Bayou and to pick up a copy of Lake’s book. It’s an academic look at landscape design in New Orleans but still I was curious. I came home and there were a lot of options, go to Swirl and catch friends, head to Ju Ju Bag and see friends playing music, and we ended up with none of those options. Instead we ordered a pizza because friends had stopped by, but right as it arrived they left, and we were left with two large pizzas and the three of us sitting around the table eating them.
Tin looked over at one point, so happy to be eating his pizza and sang, “We Are Family!”
A nice end to a hectic week.
