We went to Meaux Bar last night where there is guaranteed satisfaction. The place was packed with locals enjoying possibly the best French New Orleans bistro in the world. Jim and Matthew are the best and Debbie serving us – what could be better? Well, it got better, Ed now works there too!
The WWOZ Music Calendar was looking a little shy of anything we wanted to go listen to so we called up friends and went over to their house. First thing on the agenda was to discuss polyamory, which is all the rage these days, but instead they invited a friend over and next thing you know we were sitting around drinking bourbon and talking about something way more interesting – living in New Orleans.
A good time was passed by all. And this morning it was all bourbon and regret.
