I don’t know if it is being over 50 that suddenly makes the cycle of life so ever present on your mind or if losing a lot brings you to this point. Today, I planned to go to acro yoga but somehow couldn’t get in the mood for team sports and so I ventured over to take an open beginner’s yoga class only it turned out to be a two and a half hour here is what it’s all about class not to mention a one on one as I was the only one who showed up. Interestingly enough the theme was the Guru chant – the cycle of life – starting with the beginning of life, the duration of life and then ending with the destruction of life and as Libby said, “when you’re about to die, you fly” and so that is our metaphor for the day. Flight.<\/p>\n

It just so happens yesterday I received in the mail my third eye courtesy of The\u00a0Louise Log<\/a> and although I didn’t wear it to yoga, I did try it on for size and decided having a pink eye in the middle of my forehead might not be a bad reminder that most of the time we’re\/I’m operating on fear. Uh uh uh, I’m about to lose, oh oh oh I’m about to fall, lo lo lo I’m about to go crazy<\/em> – fear and the death of fear brings what? Flight. Right?<\/p>\n
