Gone are the days when I could act like a road warrior or actually want to be. After starting my day yesterday at 4AM and then ending it at Vatan’s Indian Restaurant down on 3rd and 29th for a friend’s birthday celebration, I finally hit my wall. <\/p>\n
I had just come from JFK, and collapsed on the bed for 45 minutes into a deep sleep, then I came out of the Muse and couldn’t find a taxi so a bicycle guy pulled up and said hop in and off we went. Vatan’s was delicious and the Taj Mahal beers flowed endlessly but only served to make me sleeping. <\/p>\n
We strolled home to walk off the chickpeas and papadams and blocks before the hotel ran into old friends that I haven’t seen in years. We were updated on other friends – this one has two kids, this one has two kids, this one has two kids. Good grief – we keep trying to write that into our script – Rachel and Tatjana have two kids now, but it’s still in the wings. <\/p>\n
