At 12:30 this morning, we were awakened to screams from a younger black woman from Gentilly who had been shot over 5 times and dumped out of a car at Esplanade & N Lopez.\u00a0 She ran to a neighbors house, then fell on the street in shock. Apparently her boyfriend had been shot and dumped on Elysian Fields or St Roch\u00a0at a bridge according to her story to me. She gave us a phone number & David called her sister to inform them.\u00a0 Ouick police response, slow response from medics.
