I was talking to my mom today about the fact that my group of friends are all costuming for Mardi Gras as they always do. I was invited to join them for the first time and was looking forward to it. However, in a missive I exchanged with that certain someone, I decided it might not be a good idea to do it this year as distance is still required. So I told B maybe it’s best if I bow out this time around, and this turned out to be a wise decision as she relayed to me that perhaps it was best as she was told that someone wouldn’t participate if I was included. Drama for goodness sakes – never ending drama.\u00a0
I told my mother about this today – she said she was feeling so “blah” – I said how can you feel blah when there is drama swirling around. So I told her all about the costuming gig and the me in, me out part and she said “tell her to pull the pacifier out of her mouth.”\u00a0
