Last night, I went to Swirl, and lo and behold, just about everyone in my immediate universe had the same plan. It was small groupings of friends, neighbors, and extensions of those groups. D said I looked like Glenda, the Good Witch with my new hair cut. We drank delicious wine – a Margaux (the one I had taken on the Swirl MS 150 ride), a bottle of delicious champagne that we took to Hot Burgers so we could christen M’s new restaurant. A large group of us ended up at Hot Burgers, late, even though the restaurant hasn’t opened yet, we ate fried okra, calamari, steak salads, and noodles from next door, all with the delicious champagne we had brought. <\/p>\n
