You think New Orleans is just about having fun – you guessed right. On Saturday morning, I had to hurry up and do all my “to do’s” because Bayou Boogaloo was starting at 11 and the fun was about to start all over again. My favorite act was Gal Holiday and the Honky Tonk Revue – I sat on the grass but when C came along and cozied up to me, I had to get up and dance with him even if he is a big goof ball. Then we stood by the stage to watch our own neighbor, Lynn Drury – who was fabulous and so was her band. My other neighbor Johnny Sansone was ripping up the stage on the harmonica as the last act. <\/p>\n
It was a beautiful day and just amazing that someone put this whole thing together for free and that any of the proceeds benefitted the art school. Wow! How lucky are we?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
