Once again I drew a hot bath and added lots of bubbles and sage oil and got in and soaked till I pruned. There is some sort of alchemy of sitting in that tub when I have been unable to get out from under work that just makes stress evaporate – at least for as long as the bubbles last.
Ida turned out to be a nonevent around here and that is just fine and dandy with me. Good riddance hurricanes and the threats of one – we already gave.
